The Tidworth Leisure Centre is one of Tidworth’s success stories : since opening in October 2000, it has had over half a million customers ! |

It is unique : it is an MOD building but it is operated in partnership with Kennet District Council and the Wiltshire County and Army Library Services.
As a result it can be used by both the Garrison and the local community. |

Indoor Sports Facilities :

Indoor sports facilities at the TLC include a 25 metre
6-lane swimming pool, a learner pool and a flume, 4 squash courts, a double gym and a 52-station Fitness Studio. |
|

|
The Gymnasium, Swimming Pool and Fitness Studio are reserved for military training at certain times.
Kennet District Council provides staff seven days a week to keep the Centre open to the public at all other times.

Tidworth is at the forefront of sporting centres of
excellence thanks to its Athletics Stadium, (The Tidworth
Oval), its County class
Cricket Ground,
its floodlit all-weather Sports Pitch and its polo and eventing equestrian
facilities. |

Run by the Wiltshire County and the Army Library Boards. Since moving to the TLC from its old location in Lowa Road, membership of the Library has quadrupled,
with the Library receiving over 100,000 visits. |
